Levi's Hairstache

Sitting out in my parent's backyard on Wednesday, Lucy takes a cup of water and dumps it on Levi's head. I was stunned by her boldness right in front of me, and I didn't even say anything because I was trying to think of how to punish her. Then I watched her start to style his hair into a mohawk. Upon finishing she proudly announced

"Mom, do you like Levi's Hairstache?"

Well, that is one way of putting it! How original! I absolutely adore that word! Lucy made me laugh so much, I forgot all about punishing her for pouring water all over Levi's head. What I originally thought to be malicious, ended up being an innocent step on the path to completing Lucy's "hairstache" quest. Besides Levi was laughing and loved being doused anyway!

Sometimes it feels like kids are being naughty just to test you, but if you wait sometimes you see a truly more magical and creative side of a three year olds brain. Sometimes...
