Anniversary Date

I promised to share what we did for our Anniversary, since it was so momentous to actually be together for it. Out of 4 anniversaries we have now been together for two of them, Yay! Something always seems to keep up us apart in June! Anyway, we went to Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane. Lucy loved feeding the goat. For those unfamiliar with the goat, when you push the button the goat sucks up your trash. Isn't that a crack up? I love it. What a creative way to get kids excited about picking up trash.

Then, just because it was our anniversary, we spoiled Lucy and let her ride the carousel twice! Once with Mom, once with Dad. Out of all the pretty horses, Lucy got to ride the goat (Dave claims she chose it, but I know better than to believe that story!) I guess it was just a goat kind of a day!


Then we ate a divine lunch at Clinkerdagger's. This was the view from our table! How sweet is that!



Ohhhhh, and there is my cute little family, cheesily smiling in front of our beautiful view!

Here is the bathroom at Clinkerdagger's. I know...who takes a picture of a toilet at a restaurant, but I had never seen a toilet like this before?

And then we, or should I say Lucy, downed a peach and huckleberry cobbler.


I have never seen her shovel food in her mouth so quickly. We were all sharing and I guess she wanted to make sure she beat me and Dave to her fill! Funny girl! We were debating going out without Lucy for our Anniversary, but she is such a part of our lives we couldn't imagine going out to eat right next to Riverfront Park without bringing her along. We had a very enjoyable day and I am very glad she came with us!
